This website and OL Shop Direct online store are operated by Ocean’s Legacy New Zealand (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing our website or purchasing products through OL Shop Direct, you agree to these Terms, Returns & Warranty. These terms apply to all users, including consumers and trade customers.

Products may have limited availability
We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders at our discretion
Returns and faulty items are handled in accordance with Section 5 (Returns & Warranty).
4. Orders & Payments
We reserve the right to cancel or limit any order that appears fraudulent, duplicated, or intended for resale outside authorised channels.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and contact information for all purchases.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method.
5. Returns & Warranty
Returns for Faulty or Damaged Products
We take pride in our quality control. If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact Us page or email sales@oceanslegacy.co.nz.
Return conditions:
Faulty or damaged items must be returned within 10 days of receipt
Items must be returned in original condition with appropriate packaging
Proof of purchase is required
Please indicate your preferred outcome (refund or replacement)
Returns should be sent via registered mail, as Ocean’s Legacy New Zealand is not responsible for items lost in transit.

Sale items are subject to the same returns policy.
Ocean’s Legacy Warranty
All Ocean’s Legacy products purchased from authorised retailers or OL Shop Direct are covered by a 12-month warranty for the original purchaser against manufacturing defects.
Within the warranty period, Ocean’s Legacy New Zealand will repair or replace the product at its discretion. Shipping costs to and from our service agents apply.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Products purchased from non-approved retailers
Modified or altered products
Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, or lack of maintenance
Rod damage from exceeding recommended line, lure, or cast ratings
Damage caused by rod holders, car doors, impact, fractures, or poor storage
Use outside the product’s intended purpose
Normal wear and tear
Commercial or rental use
6. Trade / Commercial Customers
If products are acquired for business, trade, commercial, or resale purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ)
Nothing in these Terms, Returns & Warranty limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or transactions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Ocean’s Legacy New Zealand is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.
